We recently completed a project with Mohan Construction that included improved entry drive, parking lot, two new soccer fields, and a 3200 square foot building that includes restrooms, office space and a concessions area.
On behalf of GLMV Architecture, it is my pleasure to recommend Mohan Construction, Inc. for consideration for other work.
The Topeka Zoo recently embarked on a $3.1 million construction project to share the safari adventures of their longtime leader and director emeritus, Gary K. Clarke, with the people of Topeka. As the awarded General Contractor on the Camp Cowabunga project, Mohan Construction was asked to recreate an African campsite to set the storytelling scene.
Mohan Construction brought knowledge, experience and integrity to the project, along with a willingness to work through a project type that not many builders get to experience. Their interest and investment in the Topeka community was evident throughout the entire building process.
As Project Manager for GLMV on the Camp Cowabunga project, it was my pleasure to work with Steve, Duane and the entire Mohan Construction crew to bring this exciting project to life for the Topeka Zoo and its guests.

Please accept this letter of recommendation for Mohan Construction on behalf of Westar Energy. I have had the opportunity, for the last few years, to administer several construction projects with this general contractor. The projects have varied in complexity and size, but the last two in particular were very complex and under very stringent timelines. Although there are several contractors in the area that can perform the work, it is my professional opinion, there are few that can perform the work in such an efficient and professional manner and still obtain the cost effectiveness of Mohan Construction.
They are an excellent general contractor to deal with. I know when they are involved with a project, we will be able to meet our department's expectations.

I have been very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of the Mohan staff. Remodels are never easy and hidden conditions can cause many changes to a project. The Mohan Construction staff has been very understanding of any project or schedule changes and has offered many suggestions to solve the problems or to expedite the schedule where possible.

I would like to thank you and your construction team for the outstanding work on our new Cafe and Fitness Area. We appreciated your partnership in identifying opportunities to reduce costs and value engineer the project elements to meet our budget guidelines. We are very impressed with the professionalism provided by you and your job-site superintendent. All of the individuals who worked on this project performed in a professional manner and delivered very high quality workmanship. Your skills in pre-construction services, such as preparing preliminary budgets and schedules, helped us plan and make this project a reality. During construction, the ability to work around Payless associates and the flexibility to work nights was critical and allowed us to continue operations with limited disruption. The construction schedule was extremely important to us and you met our date for the Grand Opening.

For several years our church, University United Methodist Church, has had the dream and vision of expanding and remodeling our building to make it more accessible for all people. On behalf of myself and the entire congregation, I want to thank you and your staff for making this dream a reality. We appreciate your leadership to guide the thorough, competent, skillful and professional work of Mohan Construction. I especially appreciate your cooperation and sensitivity working with me in relationship to the revolving schedule of church events and your sensitivity to the particular needs of the community. It has truly been a pleasure working with you. Thank you!

I wish to take this means of commending you for a fine job well done in the construction of our new education facility for Early Childhood Care and for students Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
We have received many fine comments on this facility.
The concern that you are your staff had during the construction phase was excellent. Having overseen the building of a church in Lansing, Kansas, I appreciated the fact that as general contractor you came together every two weeks with the architect and sub-contractors to meet with myself and our Parish Representative for a period of fourteen months.

Christ the King Parish
I know, and others have been made aware, of the challenges you and your team overcame and the outstanding work you did constructing this beautiful new addition and integrating it into the 73 year old structure without losing the special feel of the old fraternity.
We are very proud of our new fraternity house-it has definitely given us a competitive advantage in recruiting and retaining members. We know it would not have been possible without the expertise, supervision and careful attention to detail provided by the Mohan Construction team.

In many of these accelerated jobs, it has been my experience that the deadlines are met but quality of work compromised. Not so in this case. The finished product was some of the highest quality work I have seen. It is not often that you hear from an architect that their punch-list is minor.
In closing, I want to thank you again for making my job seem easy. The professionalism of you and your team is very refreshing in todays hectic work place. I hope I have the pleasure of working with Mohan Construction again in the future.

As the project engineer, I just wanted to provide this recommendation letter for Mohan Construction on their excellent efforts in both value engineering and construction services performed on the City of Topeka Zoo Camp Cowabunga project. This project provides visitors with the experience of an actual African Safari. I wanted to thank both Steve Mohan and Duane Morford (Project Superintendent) for all their efforts, support, professionalism , and skills to make this a successful project.
Mohan Construction worked extremely hard with the City of Topeka, Zoo Staff, and consultants, to make this a successful project on such a unique exhibit.
I look forward to working with them again.

In this project we were confronted with many unforeseen problems in bringing a thirty year old public building up to present day fire and ADA codes. This project required extreme coordination and planning to allow the owner and department heads to continue with their normal business schedules. I think the fact speaks for itself, that it was complete nearly 60 days ahead of the scheduled completion and the final costs, including some necessary change orders, remained well within the budget.
